Mission & Values
The convictions that shape who we are and how we live together as a church.
Our Mission
Making Disciples Who Make Disciples
Spring Forth Church exists to see people belong to Christ and His family, grow as disciples through the Word and Spirit, and live sent with the gospel into every sphere of life in Dayton and beyond.
We believe the church is not primarily a Sunday event but a way of life — a community of believers who walk together, bear one another’s burdens, and encourage each other toward faithfulness in Christ.
Our Vision
A Church of House Churches
We envision a growing network of house churches across the Dayton area — small communities of believers who are rooted in the gospel, accountable to one another, and committed to the mission of God in their neighborhoods.
House churches and public gatherings work together as complementary rhythms of church life. In house churches, people are known, discipled, and cared for. In public gatherings, the larger body worships together and is strengthened by the teaching of God’s Word.
Our hope is that as people are transformed by the gospel, they will carry that transformation into their families, workplaces, and neighborhoods — and that new house churches will be planted as God brings growth.
Our Values
The Gospel
The gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do. We seek to proclaim, embody, and apply the good news in every area of life.
Word & Spirit
We are committed to the authority of Scripture and the ongoing, active work of the Holy Spirit. We pursue both truth and encounter.
Discipleship
We are called to make disciples — not merely attenders. Every believer is growing in Christ and helping others do the same.
Family
The church is the family of God. We seek to love one another as brothers and sisters, bearing burdens and sharing life together.
Healthy Church
We are committed to cultivating a healthy expression of Christian community — marked by humility, accountability, and the grace of Jesus.
Mission
Every believer is sent. We exist not for ourselves but for the glory of God and the good of Dayton and the world.
Redemption
God redeems what is broken. We welcome people who carry wounds from unhealthy church environments and walk with them toward healing.
Multiplication
Healthy things grow and reproduce. We aim to multiply disciples, leaders, house churches, and ultimately churches for the glory of God.
